There is a better way! - TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harnesses!

The idea for this product came to us after we witnessed a near "mishap" involving a Giant Scale Warbird and unreliable servo connections.

During one fine flying day - A friend of ours was flying his Giant Scale Ziroli Stuka - this plane had been in service for a few years and was well proven. During the second flight of the day, Our friend found that the Stuka's ailerons had become unresponsive. Averting disaster, Our friend was able to land the plane using elevator, rudder and throttle management. Luckily the Stuka survived without a scratch.

Once grounded - an inspection of the Stuka revealed that the servo wire attaching the ailerons to the receiver had become hung up inside the fuselage, putting strain on the servo connectors. Eventually, during the second flight the servo connectors disconnected and control of the ailerons was lost.

It was at that point we decided - there must be a better way to secure servo connections!.

How Do They Work?

Receiver Side

Simple! TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harnesses are designed as the connection point for any of the removable parts of your aircraft - wings, tails, etc. TBolt Muli Servo Wire Harnesses are made up of 2 parts - the Receiver Side and the Servo Side.

Receiver Side consists of male servo connectors and wire merging into a single Multi-Servo Connector. This is the portion of the harness that will connect to your receiver and provide the mating connector for your wing or tail section.

The Servo Side consists of female servo connectors and wire merging into a single Multi-Servo Connector. This is the portion of the harness that will connect to each of your wing servos or tail servos and provide the mating connector for your fuselage.

TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harnesses are available in 2 lengths - 6 inch and 12 inch. IMPORTANT - The length indicates the size of each SIDE - so a complete TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harness will be DOUBLE the size.

A complete 6 inch TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harness will have a total length of 12 inches.

A complete 12 inch TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harness will have a total length of 24 inches.

A complete 24 inch TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harness will have a total length of 48 inches.<

Which Harness is Right for My Plane?

Simple! Just Determine the Number of Servos you will be using, and Determine the Length of Harness you want!

Determine how many servos you will use with your TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harness - Here are some Examples:

If you have a large Aerobatic Plane with wing panels - 1 servo per wing - you probably want two One Servo TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harnesses (one harness for each wing panel - each wing panel has one servo).

If you have a large Aerobatic Plane with wing panels - 2 servos per wing - you probably want two TWO Servo TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harnesses (one harness for each wing panel - each wing panel has two servos).

Which Harness is Right for My Plane?

If you have a large Airframe with a large wing - 2 aileron servos and 2 flap servos - you probably want one four servo TBolt Multi Servo Wire Harnesses (one harness for the large wing - the wing has a total of 4 servos).

Select the length of harness you will need (6 inch or 12 inch) - To determine this, look at how much distance exists between your receiver and where the multi connector will exit the fuselage or meet the wing/tail - also look a the distance between your servos and where the multi connector will exit the wing or meet the fuselage - if 12 inches is not long enough - you can always use regular servo extensions to extend the length between the servos/receiver and the TBolt Wire Harness.
